BetConstruct alternative: white label, turnkey or own

Published Sep 23, 2026Facts checked: Sep 22, 2026

Short answer

Stay on BetConstruct's white label while you test a market without your own licence: it runs under BetConstruct's licences and, by its own FAQ, "takes up to 1-3 weeks to go live after finalising the contract".[1] Move to its turnkey model once you hold a licence, because on BetConstruct's own sportsbook page the share going to BetConstruct drops from 60% on white label to 10%-16% on turnkey.[2] Consider an own platform when even the turnkey share, summed across your markets, outweighs running your own stack, or when your product needs changes in the core rather than in the CMS.

What BetConstruct publishes

BetConstruct prints its prices. Its sportsbook page lists a setup fee of "€19.9K" for each of three packages (Classic CMS, SpringBuilderX and Full Package), "€25K" "For Multi-Wallet", and the note "The prices may change per market."[2]

The same page publishes the revenue split, in two rows and without any further wording. "Turnkey Sportsbook Solution": "10%-16%" to BetConstruct, "84%-90%" to the partner. "White Label Sportsbook Solution": "60%" to BetConstruct, "40%" to the partner.[2] The page does not say whether the share is calculated on GGR, on NGR or on anything else, so ask before you model it. On every €100,000 of whatever base the share is calculated on, the white label leaves you €40,000 and the turnkey leaves you €84,000 to €90,000.

The two models differ in who holds the licence. The white label offers "More than 500+ payment gateways, access to all BetConstruct products under BetConstruct's licences of Curacao, Malta, France, and the UK", and the solution "takes care of legal, financial and administrative operations"; its FAQ describes the arrangement as "partner sub-licence support, enabling you to operate under one of BetConstruct's licences".[1] The turnkey page describes "an ideal platform suitable for partners that maintain their own licences and wallets".[3]

Those two published rows are scoped to the sportsbook. Across the wider catalogue, igamingplatformproviders.com records the turnkey range as "9–16%" and the white-label range as "20–60%". The same review adds the smaller line items, marked there as verified and as "Baseline rates as of July 2026": "€5,000 Odds Feed; €10,000 casino, poker or virtual sports; €15,000 gaming suite; €19,900 sportsbook or €25,000 multi-wallet", plus "CRM from €1.5K monthly; Umbrella from €1K monthly". The same review records the minimum contract term and the termination-notice period as "contract-specific and unresolved".[4]

Offers change the first months, not the model. In company news carried by iGaming Business on 22 April 2026, BetConstruct — trading in its 2026 marketing as "BetConstruct AI" — announced "CORE SUITE ACCESS (100%): Complete fee waiver for the first three months across Sportsbook, CreedRoomz, Popok, Pascal, Choice, Virtual Sports and Poker Network" and "SETUP DISCOUNT (50%): Applied immediately to all global market entry setups."[5] The announcement does not describe the terms after the free period.

The sportsbook page's "We Are Licenced" list names Brazil, Denmark, Malta, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, United Kingdom, France, Bulgaria and Romania; the footer states the site is operated by Soft Construct (Malta) Ltd, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under "MGA/B2B/286/2014" and by the UK Gambling Commission under "UKGC Account number [40767]".[2]You certify against standards such as GLI-19 Interactive Gaming Systems v3.0 and GLI-33 Event Wagering Systems v1.1 or local rules,[7] and in Great Britain the remote gambling software licence "allows you to manufacture, supply, install or adapt gambling software by means of remote communication".[8]

Stay on BetConstruct if…

  1. 1.You are testing a market and do not hold a licence. The white label is built for this: BetConstruct's licences, its payment gateways, and go-live in "up to 1-3 weeks" after the contract.[1] Spending on your own platform before you know the market works is a bet on the wrong risk.
  2. 2.You hold a licence and 10%-16% is less than your own platform would cost to run. On the sportsbook the turnkey share is a fraction of the white-label share,[2] and you keep your own licences and wallets.[3] For a single-market operator this can be the stable end state.
  3. 3.You need breadth on day one. The published catalogue covers "140K+ pre-match events every month" and "120+ sports types",[2] and the white label lists "More than 500+ payment gateways".[1] Rebuilding that breadth is integration work before it is product work.

Consider leaving BetConstruct if…

  1. 1.Symptom: 60 of every 100 goes to the vendor. That is the published white-label sportsbook split.[2] Once the market works for you and you can get a licence, the cheaper first move can be the turnkey model on the same vendor, and the second your own platform.
  2. 2.Symptom: the change you need is in the core, and the answer is a CMS setting. Turnkey partners get "a platform powered by CMS, Website Builder and BackOffice from BetConstruct as well as various betting products via API integration".[1] Pricing logic, bonus rules or wallet behaviour that nobody else has requires a core you control.
  3. 3.Symptom: you run several licensed markets and pay the share in each. The share is taken from revenue, so it grows with every market and every good season.[2] At some volume, a fixed-cost platform you own costs less than a variable share you rent; the volume depends on your markets, and it is worth calculating before the next renewal.

A migration path in four steps

  1. 1.Licence first. A white label runs under BetConstruct's licences,[1] so you cannot move players to your own platform without a licence of your own in each target market. Confirm the specifics with a licensing lawyer in each market before you commit to a date.
  2. 2.Agree the data handover. White-label player data "is processed inside BetConstruct's licensed and operated environment", and migration rights, formats and exit assistance "remain contract-specific".[6] Define the export: player records, balances, KYC files, bonus state, open bets and history, the format, and the dates. For turnkey, set up the data replication early.
  3. 3.Build and certify, then sign your own contracts. Replace access to "More than 500+ payment gateways"[1] with contracts for the payment providers your markets actually use, and sign game and feed contracts in your own name. Certification runs alongside development.
  4. 4.Run in parallel and cut over by market. Reconcile balances and settlements daily between the two platforms, move one market or brand at a time, and keep a rollback path open for an agreed window.

The licence, payment and data side of the move is covered in moving from a white label to your own platform.

What drives the cost of building your own

These are the cost drivers, not a price.

  • Licences. The cost and calendar of a licence in each market come before any platform decision on the white-label path.
  • Certification. Testing against standards such as GLI-19 Interactive Gaming Systems v3.0 and GLI-33 Event Wagering Systems v1.1, or local equivalents.[7] In Great Britain, manufacturing, supplying, installing or adapting gambling software by means of remote communication needs a remote gambling software licence.[8]
  • Payments and KYC. Each provider is an integration and a contract. BetConstruct's published setup fee is "€25K" "For Multi-Wallet" against "€19.9K" for the standard package.[2]
  • Content and feeds. Game providers and an odds feed, each a contract and an integration; igamingplatformproviders.com puts the BetConstruct Odds Feed setup baseline at "€5,000".[4]
  • Sportsbook engine and settlement. Bet placement, settlement after big events and risk controls; more in live-betting architecture and settlement lag.
  • Operations. On-call cover around the clock and the migration project itself.

Frequently asked questions

BetConstruct's sportsbook page lists a "€19.9K" setup fee, "€25K" for multi-wallet, "10%-16%" to BetConstruct on turnkey and "60%" on white label, with the note that "The prices may change per market."[2] igamingplatformproviders.com adds CRM from €1.5K a month and the Umbrella risk tool from €1K a month, and records the turnkey range across products as "9–16%" and the white-label range as "20–60%".[4]

Who holds the licence and who keeps the revenue. The white label runs under BetConstruct's licences and, on the sportsbook, pays BetConstruct "60%";[1][2] the turnkey page is aimed at "partners that maintain their own licences and wallets" and the sportsbook share there is "10%-16%".[3][2]

For the white label, BetConstruct's FAQ says "It takes up to 1-3 weeks to go live after finalising the contract with BetConstruct."[1] No figure is published for turnkey.

Two things have to be in place before the move: your own licence in each market, and an agreed export of player records, balances, KYC files and bonus state from BetConstruct's environment, since migration rights and formats "remain contract-specific".[6] Plan the cutover by market with a parallel run.
