Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This page describes what ambrain.org collects about the people who read it, and what we do with that. It is written to be checked against the site, not to be long.

Who We Are

amBrain LLC is a software engineering company registered in Yerevan, Armenia. This policy explains what personal data we collect through ambrain.org, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

For anything related to this policy, write to info@ambrain.org. We answer privacy requests from the same address that answers project enquiries.

What We Collect

Information you send us

When you submit the contact form, we receive what you typed into it: your name, your email address, your LinkedIn profile link, your description of the project, and the file you attached if you chose to attach one. Nothing on this site asks for payment details, government identifiers, or health information, and we do not want them.

Information collected automatically

Every page of this site sends a small record to our own analytics service, which runs on our server and is not shared with advertising networks. One record contains:

  • Page and referrer the address you opened and the address you arrived from, including campaign tags such as utm_source when the link carried them.

  • Device basics screen size, browser language, and the browser, operating system and device type derived from your user agent string.

  • Network address your IP address, which we store and also use to derive the country your visit came from.

  • Behaviour on the page page views, how far you scrolled, which call-to-action you clicked, how long you stayed, and browser performance measurements.

  • Identifiers a random visitor identifier that lets us tell a returning browser from a new one, and a session identifier that groups one visit together. Neither carries your name.

Google Analytics

This site also loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7BGTPNNL78), which sets its own cookies and processes data under Google's terms. If you block it with a browser setting or an extension, the rest of the site keeps working.

Why We Collect It

Contact form data is processed to answer you and, if it goes further, to prepare an offer — that is, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Analytics data is processed in our legitimate interest in understanding whether the site explains our work clearly, which pages are read, and where people give up. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, we do not sell it, and we do not enrich it with data bought from third parties.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use a first-party cookie named visitor_id, kept for up to 400 days, together with equivalent entries in your browser's local and session storage. Their only job is to recognise the same browser across visits so that one person is not counted as many.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies in addition to ours. Clearing your browser's cookies and site data removes all of them; the site continues to work without them, and a cleared browser is simply counted as new.

Who Else Sees It

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Data reaches these third parties because the service itself runs through them:

  • Web3Forms delivers the contact form to our mailbox; it receives what you typed into the form.

  • Google receives analytics events through Google Analytics 4, and delivers our mail through Google Workspace.

  • Hetzner hosts the server in Germany on which the site and our own analytics run.

We also disclose data when the law of Armenia requires it, and no wider than the requirement.

How Long We Keep It

Analytics records are kept for no longer than 26 months and are deleted after that. Correspondence that started with the contact form is kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months after the last message, because a project discussed today is often signed a year later.

If you ask us to delete your data earlier, we do it — see the next section.

Your Rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also object to the analytics processing described above. Write to info@ambrain.org and we will answer within 30 days.

To make a deletion request precise, it helps to tell us the email address you wrote from. For analytics records there is no name attached, so we match by the visitor identifier stored in your browser.

Children

This site sells engineering services to companies and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not change it silently and backdate the result.
