Short answer
Match-Trader publishes its prices: $2,500 a month for the White Label Basic tier, $4,000 for the White Label Turnkey tier with the prop CRM and $5,000 for the Server tier, with no yearly commitment. Only the Server tier includes access to all databases and a connection to the data feed and liquidity provider of your choice. DXtrade publishes no prices on the pages checked and, across its product line, covers CFDs, futures, stocks and options. Pick Match-Trader for a known monthly number, DXtrade for listed products under one vendor, and a platform of your own when the data and the rules have to be yours.
Match-Trader comes from Match-Trade Technologies, which announced its price list on 8 November 2024: white labels from $2,500 a month, server licences from $5,000, and a turnkey prop package of platform plus CRM for $4,000, with hosting on AWS or Azure included for the white label and the server licence[1]. Pricing is "structured on a per-account basis"[2], and accounts above the default package are charged in tiers[3].
DXtrade comes from Devexperts, which says it has "been developing software for financial industry companies since 2002"[4]. The line has three products: DXtrade CFD (FX, CFDs, spread bets, spot and margin crypto), DXtrade XT (stocks, options, futures, mutual funds and bonds) and a prop trading technology for CFDs and futures[4]. None of the pages checked shows a price: they lead to "Request a demo"[5][8].
The difference that matters most for a small firm is not features but who holds the database. Match-Trader sells that access as a tier. The DXtrade CFD page lists what brokers licensing it get — "Their own hosted platform", "Maintenance and technical support 24/7", "Up and running in a week"[5] — and names neither the host nor any terms for exporting data.
| Match-Trader | DXtrade | Own platform | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Code and data ownership | Vendor code. On the server licence, brokers keep "full control and exclusive access to their client database"[6]; on the two white-label tiers, "Access to All Databases" is not included and API access is marked "Limited"[2] | Vendor code; brokers licensing DXtrade CFD get "Their own hosted platform"[5]; data-export terms not published | Your code and your database |
| Cost model | White Label Basic $2,500, White Label Turnkey $4,000, Server $5,000, per month[2]; extra accounts charged in tiers[3]; server licence has "no b-book turnover fees"[7] | Not published; the prop page says "Launch in a week with a low cost of entry into the business"[8] | Build cost plus hosting, market data, liquidity connections and people; no per-account fee |
| Time to launch | "Start your brokerage or prop firm in just 1 week"[2] | DXtrade CFD: "Up and running in a week"[5] | Scoped per project; longer than either vendor |
| Lock-in: term, notice, migration | "We do not require a yearly commitment"[1]; platform-specific APIs | Contract term, notice and export terms not published | No vendor contract; the dependency is on your own code and team |
| Customisation | "Full platform customization (CSS, logo, multi-brand CRM)" on every tier; on the Server tier, build your own front end or use the TradingView front end via its APIs[2][7] | Branded web and mobile apps; custom work through "DXtrade Enterprise": client-versus-client matching (CLOB), "Modular architecture to your specification"[5] | Any rule, product or order type you can specify and test |
| Compliance and data residency | Hosting on AWS or Azure included for the white label and the server licence[1]; turnkey market data and liquidity "sourced from a CySEC-regulated partner"[1]; a "Server On-Premise" option on the Server tier only[2] | A "hosted platform"; host and region not published[5] | Wherever you decide; you produce the audit evidence |
| Latency and scale | Vendor states it confirmed server capacity "by having 100k accounts on our own server"[6] | Not published for DXtrade; Enterprise mentions a "Low latency matching engine" without a figure[5] | Designed for your load and measured by your own tests |
| Exit cost | No yearly commitment[1]; on the server licence you already hold the client database[6] | Unknown until you ask: export terms are not public | No contract to exit; the cost is the knowledge your team holds |
| Cost driver | What drives it | Public reference point |
|---|---|---|
| Trading core | Order handling, account state, simulated or real execution | Match-Trader and DXtrade both bundle it; you specify and test yours |
| Market data | One licence per exchange or data vendor, often per user | DXtrade's prop product includes futures data from CME, ICE and Cboe "out of the box"[8]; on your own platform each is a separate contract |
| Liquidity bridge | Priced per instance and per connection | PrimeXM: $2,000 a month per XCore instance, $600 per FIX maker, $1,200 per MT4 or MT5 taker; each XCore is billed at the highest of its instance, connectivity, volume and transaction fees, not their sum[10] |
| Risk and evaluation rules | Drawdown modes, daily loss, position limits, auto-liquidation | DXtrade publishes the risk settings of its stocks, futures and equity options prop accounts: max drawdown (EOD trailing, real-time trailing, or static), max daily loss, position limits, buying-power checks and auto-liquidation; for CFD accounts it lists max drawdown, profit targets, auto-liquidation and swap settings[8]; see pre-trade risk checks inside the order path |
| KYC | Priced per verification | Sumsub: $1.35 per verification with a $149 minimum monthly commitment, or $1.85 with AML and a $299 minimum[11] |
| Front ends and apps | Web, iOS, Android, each with its own release cycle | No public reference; scoped per project |
| Operations | On-call cover for every trading session | No public reference; scoped per project |
$2,500 a month for White Label Basic, $4,000 for White Label Turnkey with the prop CRM and $5,000 for the Server tier, per the vendor's prop pricing page, which lists default cloud hosting as "Included with every package"[2]. There is no yearly commitment[1]. Accounts above the default package cost extra, in tiers[3].
Plan a parallel run and negotiate the data first. The switch reported by Finance Magnates followed a sudden loss of access: Funding Pips "quickly transitioned" to Match-Trader after losing access to the MetaQuotes platform in February 2024[9]. The cost depends on your data: on Match-Trader's server licence you already hold the database[6]; with DXtrade the export terms are not public, so negotiate them before signing.
When your data, your evaluation rules or your product mix are the business and a vendor tier or queue stands between you and them. Settle first which platform you actually need: where to start with your own trading platform.
